The Clarice Cliff Bizarre range was produced from 1927 to 1936.  The ever popular Autumn Crocus design can be found on so many of her Art Deco shapes including Conical, Stamford, Bonjour, Globe, Lynton and many more.  Hundreds of patterns have been made in many different styles such as landscapes, geometric and floral patterns.  Although Clarice Cliff continued being produced into the 1950s, her renowned work is from the Art Deco period.  Top patterns such as May Avenue, House and Bridge, Gibraltar, Red Roofs and Kew are to name just a few.  Sadly Clarice Cliff died in 1972.

Susie Cooper 1902 to 1995.  Susie Cooper worked at Gray’s Pottery from 1922 to 1929 before going to work for Wood & Son.   She designed hand painted geometric patterns such as Cubist, Moon and Mountain as well as the popular lithograph patterns such as Acorn, Patricia Rose, Dresden and Panel Spray.  She was renowned for her tea and coffee wares on shapes like Kestrel, Falcon and Rex.  She went onto produce post war bone china with patterns like Strawberry and Apple Gay.

Shelley China has such a vast range for collecting; Partiques tend to concentrate on the Shelley tea ware. The main shapes are Vogue, Mode, Queen Anne and Regent.  Some of the favourite geometric patterns tend to be Blocks and Sunray in various colour ways.  The Queen Anne patterns such as Sunrise and Tall Trees and Blue Iris are always popular.  Other areas of Shelley we tend to stock are Art Deco Drip ware, Mabel Lucie Attwell children’s ware and occasionally, the odd piece of Wileman Faience and Walter Slater.

Carlton Ware again has a vast range for collecting.  You will find items from the early Lustre range and Embossed ware from the 1930s.  The popular patterns we try to stock are Foxglove and Yellow and Pink Buttercup.   Novelty walking ware is another collecting theme we occasional have.

Burleigh Ware is known mainly for their tea ware and animal jugs.  A selection of jugs appears quite frequently on our website.

Royal Winton – We sometimes have available Chintz ware and hand painted cottage Ware.

Myott – made some of the great Art Deco shaped jugs and vases such as Fan, Castle, Star and Bowtie.  These often appear in our ceramics section.

Partiques*uk is our user name on Ebay were we always have a variety of ceramics for sale.

Enquires regarding BUYING or SELLING always welcome.
